Communal Aquamation
With communal aquamation, animal “cremains” will not be returned. Remains are more than 98% calcium, and can be used to enhance our ecosystem, so unclaimed and communal remains will be used for environmentally sustainable agriculture.
Animals will be placed together for the process of alkaline hydrolysis, and their cremains will be combined together.
What to Expect
Sating “goodbye” to a pet is difficult, and it is often full of challenging decisions across a spectrum of issues. Eternal Tides aims to continue easing those demands as much as possible. Here’s what to expect with aquamation:
Animal Collection: We aim to make the experience as seamless as possible. Eternal Tides offers pickup options from several local veterinary clinics; if your animal passes away at home, we also offer pickup from homes within (about) 15 miles of Fargo for a fee of $15-$30. You can also schedule a time to bring your pet directly to our facility.
Process Time: Our aquamation process typically takes 7-10 days. We understand how important it is to have your pet’s remains returned to you, and we prioritize a respectful and timely process.
Returning of Remains: For families choosing communal aquamation, Eternal Tides does not return your pet’s remains. Interested parties may request a portion of the returnable material from the cycle containing their pet.
Remains Vessel Selection: Eternal Tides provides a selection of urns and alternative vessels, allowing you to choose a memorial option that best honors your pet’s memory. We continue to expand our offerings, so you can select something truly meaningful. Eternal Tides can also facilitate several custom engraving options.
